EXHIBITIONS
Farewell Art Show and Fundraiser | Northampton, MA, Winter 2023
A solo show that featured a collection of works called IN MEMORY. Creating this collection allowed me to reflect on my journey as a runner and a coach, and the ways these experiences have shaped my understanding of myself, my body, my relationship with running, and my connections with many communities. This art show served as my goodbye to Western Massachusetts as well as a fundraiser, allowing me to donate nearly $1600 to the new running track at Amherst Regional High School, where I coached for five seasons.
Art is the Best Medicine Exhibition | Joplin, MO, Fall 2023
A group show that took place during the Artful Medicine Symposium at Missouri Southern State University, featuring my modular, mixed-media piece called Inside & Out (2023). This piece reflects on the joys and challenges of inhabiting a body, and the show put artworks into conversation with modern medical practices and celebrated art-making as a healing act.
The Disappearing Gallery | Northampton, MA, Fall 2021- Fall 2023
A sporadic and experimental sharing of public artwork made of found and repurposed materials, displayed on an empty shop window on Main Street. Projects are nondestructive, often interactive, and have a tendency to vanish within a few days or weeks.
Emotions | Gallerium Online Gallery, Summer 2023
An online group exhibition featuring my mixed media self-portrait, Frayed (2023), which explores the ways being assigned female at birth and socialized as a girl and a woman forced me to construct a very specific identity that never quite fit.
Strike a Pose | Cultural Center of Cape Cod, MA, Winter 2023
A group exhibition focused on portraits and figures featuring two of my acrylic paintings, Warped (2022) and Electrified (2017). Though I painted these at two very different times in my life, they share visual and thematic similarities related to thoughts, fears, and self-perceptions.
Generation Ratify’s Feminist Art Show | Jones Library, Amherst, MA, Fall 2022
A group exhibition and silent auction to benefit the Abortion Rights Fund of Western Massachusetts, featuring one of my acrylic paintings called Seeds of Revolution (2022), which depicted a tree as a symbol of social justice revolution. It sold for above the minimum bid in the auction and now hangs in the studio space of an Amherst-based arts nonprofit.
Essex Art Center Salon Show | Essex Art Center, Lawrence, MA, Summer 2022
A group exhibition and fundraiser for the Essex Art Center, featuring one of my acrylic paintings called Warped (2022), a large-scale self-portrait that contemplates self-perceptions.
HOME Exhibition | Forbes Library, Hosmer Online Art Gallery, Spring 2022
An online group exhibition featuring three works from three different times in my life when I was reflecting on the meaning of home. One was documentation of an installation called Fractals, one was a series of drawings and photographs called A Moment in Time (2019), and one was an embroidered map called Not to Scale II (2020).
TREES Exhibition | CLIMB Online Art Gallery, Fall 2021
An online group exhibition that featured two of my acrylic paintings, which I documented installed on trees. They were called Fluid Mosaic I and Cross Section, and they won the recognition of Best in Show.
SunShip: Thesis Exhibition | Arts Letters & Numbers, Summer 2021
An online group exhibition that was the culmination of a six-week remote studio program. My project, called On the Fence, consisted of outdoor, site-specific installations that were extensions of my thesis work, iterations of the project that allowed me to imbue my past materials with new life and meaning.
Honors Thesis Exhibition: TimeTracks & TimeTrails | Smith College, Spring 2021
A solo exhibition that was the culmination of my honors thesis project, created over the course of my senior year of college. It included a mixed-media installation on the Smith College running track, largely consisting of hand-woven yarn and fabric, and an indoor gallery show that included photography, embroidery, and video elements. This project won the highest honors designation and brought closure to my college experience in a deeply meaningful way.
Five College Studio Seminar Exhibition: Extant | Smith College, Fall 2019
A group show featuring an interactive mixed-media installation of found-object lanterns that I created during my junior year of college. It was called These Towers Seem to Sing and Everyone Hears a Different Song, and viewers were encouraged to explore the room by flashlight.
AP Art Exhibition | Hackley School, Spring 2017
A group show featuring twelve acrylic paintings that I created during my senior year of high school. It was a series of whimsical portraits called I Like the Way You Think, and it scored a 5 on the AP exam.
Girl Scout Gold Award Recipient: Art for Clean Water | Spring 2017
A yearlong project in which I created and tested a K-12 visual arts curriculum of projects that use found or repurposed materials to creatively engage students with the reality of climate change. These projects were intended to accompany the educational outreach efforts of clean water advocate Christopher Swain.
